September 29, 2008   American triathlete Desiree Ficker is partnering with My Athlete LLC, a GPS Athlete Tracking company, for The 2008 Hawaii Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii on October 11th.

The MyAthlete™ GPS Athlete Tracking System, using the GTX Corp (GTXO.OB) gpVector™ technology, will provide live tracking on race day, allowing friends, family and fans to follow Desiree’s race day progress.  “The goal behind MyAthlete™ is to allow an athlete’s support crew to be more involved in “their” athlete’s races and training” said John Brennan, President of My Athlete LLC.  “This technology is more for the friends and family than it is for the athlete allowing them to be a part of their Athlete’s journey.”

My Athlete LLC Places Order for Next Gen gpVector Product

LOS ANGELES, September 24, 2008 -- GTX Corp (OTCBB: GTXO), a leader in the licensing of embedded miniaturized GPS/PLS technology, announced the confirmation of receipt of its latest purchase order from licensee My Athlete LLC, for the newest generation of the gpVector device and platform. The final design has been approved and the new order is expected to ship during the first half of the first quarter of 2009 with additional follow-on purchase orders expected in early 2009 for shipment in the second quarter of the year.

Since this years Boston Marathon, My Athlete has been delivering the gpVector tracking platform to athletes participating in the major competitions of the summer season, such as the Ironman events in Lake Placid, NY, Louisville, KY and Madison, WI, culminating in the premiere event of the year, the Kona Ironman in Hawaii next month. The schedule for the remainder of the year includes weekly events being held in various cities around the country. The overwhelming response to the product and its ability to broadcast location aware signals to spectators viewing racers in real time on web-enabled mobile devices, such as laptop PCs, PDAs and cell phones, has led to an accelerated demand for the next generation 2 Way GPS technology.

GTX and My Athlete, having listened to the voice of the athlete, combined their resources to create a new MyAthlete device platform which provides dramatic improvements in ergonomics, water resistance, and power management, delivering a best in class next generation product for the competitive athletic marketplace. Now sporting LED indicators denoting GPS connectivity status, power on/off and battery charge levels, as well as having molded housing gaskets which will ensure water tightness, the Hermes 1.5 unit will produce results equaled by no other real time GPS tracker in the industry.

The credit for having reached this milestone goes to both the engineers at our Palo Alto R&D center and our partners at My Athlete, commented Patrick Bertagna, CEO and President of GTX Corp. Their ability to work so closely together has made this new product a reality. By presenting 2-Way GPS week in and week out at events and hearing the demands of the marketplace the My Athlete team has helped us to react in record time.

The world-class triathletes and marathoners who have tested our platform in competition in the past year have given us tremendous insights as to how best to present this incredible technology to the marketplace, and this new product will give us the ability to address their demands, said John Brennan, the founder and President of My Athlete LLC.

The MyAthlete tracking device is worn on the racers belt and transmits his or her location as gathered by the miniaturized GPS technology onboard via wireless carrier networks every minute they are on the course. Once the location data is received by the GTX Corp location data servers and proprietary processing software, it is transformed into a breadcrumb trail that is displayed on the MyAthlete tracking web portal, also powered by GTX Corp, and using a Google Maps format. It can be viewed from any web browser running Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla Firefox on PCs, laptops or mobile devices such as the Apple iPhone.

LOS ANGELES, Aug 12, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- GTX Corp (GTXO:GTXO) , the developer of the gpVector(TM) module, a groundbreaking GPS/GSM/GPRS tracking solution offering a miniaturized product profile with exceptionally accurate and sensitive positioning awareness, announces today that the FCC has granted full certification for the device.    Now offering one of the smallest and lightest devices of its kind, GTX Corp is developing a comprehensive service offering for prospective licensees, such as My Athlete LLC in the Athletic Competiton & Training market, centered on the first of its custom 2-Way GPS hardware solutions. Attaining FCC certification for a non-cell phone product having wireless and GPS capabilities to be worn on or near the body is something of a rarity, as evidenced by the scarcity of such devices in the market place today. This certification will now set the stage for the rapid expansion of the GTX Corp GPS/PLS platform.

It's an all out solo challenge.”
